Let's start with the good things: We had double rooms with balcony and were happy with the size. The direct beach location with free sunbeds and parasols was our deciding factor. There is also parking directly at the hotel. Our compliments also go to the cleaning ladies for the quick and good cleaning. The complex is already getting on in years, but is well maintained. And now the rest follows: Room: not soundproofed, you can hear everything, how the neighbours talk, their alarm clock, how they turn the lights on and off... WiFi is unsecured and not stable at all. TV - my work monitor is bigger. Also, you have to pay separately for beach towels in a beach hotel, 5€/beach towel. Bogus sustainability. Although we did not throw our towels on the floor, they were replaced. In addition, the air conditioning is always turned on by the cleaning staff and runs all day, even though we are not there and do not need it. Restaurant: 0 stars. It does not belong in a 4* hotel. The food at the airport tasted better than the food in this restaurant. Italian food is much more and tastier than served there. Breakfast very basic with little choice between cereals & co (no unsweetened alternatives) or sandwiches. Only good thing is the coffee and a selection of fresh fruits. We also tried lunch and dinner. Afterwards we were glad that we only booked breakfast. It is an impertinence to serve industrially produced noodles in a 4* hotel and also as a chef's recommendation, especially for the price. Food without any taste. Our question about the wine also remained unanswered, we were simply served two glasses of red wine that we didn't like at all, without even having the opportunity to taste them. Good service is different. Parking: our car mirror was damaged there. But it's not the hotel's fault. All in all, not worth the money. We were very surprised how this hotel had such good reviews among all platforms.

This is a modern family-owned hotel situated almost on the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly and they try their best to give excellent service. My room had a sea view but the hotel also has a swimming pool. The bedroom and en suite bathroom are very clean. There is a TV and a stocked fridge but no room kettle. There are also a couple of picture books about the Puglia region too. The breakfasts are buffet style but the dinners include an appetiser, starter, main course and dessert which are of a reasonably good quality and attractively presented. You can buy wine by the glass or bottle, or order a beer to go with your dinner. In the evening there is a singer after dinner and plenty of tables, chairs and sofas on the outside terrace. The garden is well maintained and pleasant to walk through. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool but also plenty of sun beds on the adjacent beach. Though the hotel provides the expected towels in the bathroom, you need to take your own beach towel for outdoor use. At the end of the bay is a small lighthouse which can be reached by walking along the beach or a longer route by road. Along much of the bay there are stalls selling beach wear and there are also a few cafe's and bars on the beach. Torre Canne is only a small fishing village so there's nor much going on here but there are plenty of interesting places to travel to by road. The hotel also has spa treatments available to book and one can also hire a bicycle. There's a table tennis table, table football and a pool table for further diversion. As my visit was during school term time there were no children staying but, no doubt, they do come during holidays. I think this hotel is probably the best one along this stretch of coast and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Lovely hotel but holiday nearly ruined by room allocated. We has chosen room with balcony. The room we were allocated was dark and small with a shoebox sized balcony with no view. Luckily, for 140 euros, we were upgraded to a super light room with decent sea facing balcony. Can’t fault rest of hotel but you must book sea view with balcony unless you enjoy a dark cellar

The location of the hotel with a large pool and directly on the sea is beautiful. Also for the children, there is a lot of variety and a fun water playground with a trampoline. Dinner was good, but breakfast on the other hand could have been better. For a 4-star hotel, we would have expected a little more choice and especially the juices were more like water. The hotel room was clean, but certain things should be renovated. Especially, the isolation of the rooms was really bad. All noises from outside were audible and because every evening until 11 or 12 pm loud music was running, it was impossible to sleep before midnight. This is the main reason, why I would not spend my vacation there again. I also found it annoying that a beach towel costs 5 euros, but the towels in the room are changed every day, although this was not requested.

Recently returned from Hotel Del Levante and would rate this hotel a 2.5 star property. The location is good because you are directly on the beach. The hotel is dated especially the rooms, they are very small and the bathroom is something out of the 70's.. very poor lighting and tiny shower. I am a small person and I barely fit in the shower stall. Lots of improvement needed in the rooms. The 2 pools were not clean. In the morning you could see the sand and debris floating in the pool. My son got a bacterial infection in his eyes, clearly the pools were not properly maintained. Food was ok, breakfast was very limited and the staff in the dining room were rude, and did not help the guests much. I found this to be the case also with the check in desk as well, tried to arrange a care rental but they would only take cash for payments no credit cards. Very strange to say the least. Never seen such a miserable bunch..no smiles on any of them for the entire week I was there. I did not feel welcomed at all on arrival, there was not even any information given or instructions to familiarize the guests with the property. There is beautiful hotel just a few doors down, Canne Bianchi a little more expensive but worth it! Beware Hotel Del Levante is not a 4 star by any means..this hotel is in my opinion a 2.5 star property. Save yourself much disappointment go somewhere else.

Out-dated Just stayed at this hotel for the past week. The main thing I would say is that this hotel is totally out of date. Rooms and especially bathroom haven't been updated since 1980s. This is not an exaggeration. Shower is .5m squared so very tight. Shower hose from a museum, it does the job (like a bad school shower does). Everything feels dated in this hotel. The breakfast is comprised of an 80s style bland croissant, cake. Cereals are low quality bought in sacks from the local wholesaler. Lack of freshness or quality. Coffee is nothing special, you don't feel like you are in Italy or that anyone cares. Service is inconsistent. The dining room is a bit dated, expect to be ordered where to sit, poor communication, lots of staff milling around talking to each other, little effort is made to you the guest. The rooms are simple with no frills. Half bottles of wine rolling around on top of the mini-bar, warm and doubtless undrinkable. Bedding seems antique, brown blankets of indeterminate age. Only 1 pillow per person, you have to ask for another one. The hotel pool is dated, its 25 metres so its OK to swim lengths but unfortunately gave me swimmers ear (for the first time in a long while), I suspect that its not 100% cleaned properly. However, there is a really fun mini-water park and large trampoline for kids which my 6 and 10 year old loved. Lunch is much better. Very good pizzas, regularly changing menus and I cannot fault the food being offered for lunch. Service is professional and friendly. Full credit to the lunch staff. No concerns in this area and it greatly makes up for the sleeping and breakfast issues. Dinner is also quite good. Same staff as breakfast but much more effort is made for dinner. A changing menu offers all kinds of interesting dishes. In general the food is good. So I also differentiate between the overall poor efforts made in the room or at breakfast with the much better results for dinner. Nearby you have a very good local, traditional restuarant next to the hotel which I recommend. Al Bucco is a fancier fish restaurant which is only about a 15 minute walk up the beach. The reception staff try very hard and give excellent service. So the main issue for this hotel is the fact that its largely totally out of date servicing the coach, budget crowd. There are some advantages to this hotel but it’s a disappointing 3star not even close to a 4 and I can't recommend it and would not go back. Lastly when I left I requested a taxi to Brindisi airport. The hotel told me it would take an hour and charged me €100 when it turned out to be 15 min and the price seems like a rip-off.
